Title : Proposal of New Inventory Model for Online Retailers to be both Seller and Buyer Oriented Authors : Ajith Kumar A, Amrithasree A
Abstract :
The world’s most popular business today is online retailing. Online retail market’s aim is to connect buyer and seller from different parts of the world and make product’s available worldwide. They play the role of bridge between buyer and seller. On watching the current internet retailing plans of action we could find that either venture on stock is gigantic or nature of the item is undermined. Along these lines a solidness is required in order to limit the speculation on schedule and venture on distribution center and limit client objections. In our proposed model we advanced these issues, the principal finding is keeping up stock by without a moment to spare strategy for getting the item from purchaser, and the subsequent discovering is quality check of items before arriving at the client. These online retailers are either buyer oriented or seller oriented. Both the business model has it’s own advantage and disadvantage. Inventory model of seller oriented business model is costly but quality check is strong. Buyer oriented business model spends on connecting the two parties rather than maintaining inventory So we developed a model that could stabilize both the business models without compromising on quality of the product being delivered and managing the inventory effectively is proposed in this paper. |

Title : A Study on Employee Motivation and Its Impact on Job Performance Authors : Shaik Rafi Ahmed, Dr.Satish Chandra Bhatnagar, Dr. V.Sundareshan
Abstract :
In the study of human behaviour, motivation is a basic psychological process, like perception and learning. On the other hand, it must be remembered that motivation should not be thought as the only explanation of behaviour. Many people equate the causes of perception and learning, it is presented here as being a very important process in understanding behaviour. It interacts with and acts in conjunction with other psychological process and personality. Motivation cannot be seen. All that can be seen is behaviour. Many believe that the key to improve performance and productivity in any area/endeavour is motivation rather than ability. The challenge for today management is to administer motivational programs and variables, which will encourage employees to improve their work performance |

Title : Estimating Suspended Particulate Matter Using Remotely Sensed Data: The Case of Mamloo Dam Authors : Mohammad Ranjbar
Abstract :
The Mamloo Dam ecosystem is under constant threat of environmental and anthropogenic stressors owing to its location not far from Jackson, the largest city in Mississippi. While the biological particles in the suspended particulate matter (SPM) including detritus and phytoplankton can be helpful for oyster survival and growth, non-algal suspended silts and clays can negatively affect these suspension feeding animals. This can lead to death by hypoxia/anoxia, to poor health. Oysters are also subjected to additional stress as a result of bio-availability of the contaminants associated with SPM. Runoff from adjacent watersheds and dredging activities increase SPM in the water column. Remote sensing is useful in mapping the spatio-temporal distribution of SPM. The primary objective of this research is to develop remote sensing algorithms for mapping SPM with a focus on non-algal patriciate (NAP) using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) satellite imagery captured in 2015. Water samples and ancillary data were collected from 12 locations within the dam. Semi-analytical algorithms is developed for generating NAP maps using the MODIS satellite imagery and field data. The potential impact of this endeavor will be significant as it informs water managers, the fishery industry, and other stakeholders on the current status of SPM |

Title : Image Denoising Algorithm Based on Neighborhood Clustering Authors : Kefei Zhang
Abstract :
In image processing, noise in the image has become an important factor affecting image quality. The appearance of noise will cause important information in the image to be lost, and blurring will occur, affecting the image quality. The neighborhoods used in traditional spatial domain image processing algorithms are mostly squares, but the neighborhoods of pixel points in real images have various shapes. Traditional algorithms cannot adapt to the characteristics of neighborhood diversity. This paper first proposes an image denoising algorithm based on neighborhood clustering. The algorithm focuses on generating a dynamic neighborhood, then integrating the pixel information in the neighborhood and completing the denoising. This algorithm has achieved good denoising effect. Compared with the traditional spatial domain denoising algorithm, the peak noise ratio is significantly improved. |
