Abstract :

Day by day the new devices are comes in market and they are connected with networks to share the resources or information. It is very necessity of the network administrator to protect the devices with loss of data, false authentication, loss of data integrity as well as spreading a malicious software programs in the devices. It is required to use the technology to prevent against such attacks. This paper describes the task of firewall, various types of firewalls used to protect the network and its resources. The paper discusses the various attacks on packer filter firewall and its countermeasures. Also it discusses of firewall implementation approach and strategies for building firewall environments.

Abstract :

Symmetric encryption algorithms must be used with the cipher block mode operation in real applications. The cipher block mode chosen is influenced by security and performance of the mode. This paper discusses ECB (Electronic Codebook), CBC (Cipher Block Chaining), CFB (Cipher FeedBack), OFB (Output FeedBack) and CTR (Counter) cipher modes. To provide security and proper implementation of symmetric key algorithms cipher modes are more important. This paper describes the details of cipher modes operation, their parameters as well as their strengths and weaknesses. The Counter mode of operation has been found generally superior to the other four modes of operation in terms of performance especially when increasing the input size.

Abstract :

The emerging of e-hailing services such as Grab application gave many benefits to daily life of community nowadays, for instance providing better service, lower fares and convenience rides to customer. However, as a new technology of mobile application in transportation sector, Grab application also may had some failure and technical difficulties that may impact on customers’ experience while using it. Limited studies on the adoption of Grab application based on technology readiness factors. Also, lack discussion on the overall customer experience towards the usage of Grab application. Since the Grab application penetrated the Malaysian market five years ago in 2014, there is still a room to improve the understanding on the adoption and customers’ satisfaction of an application among customers, thus indirectly lead customer to continue use of the application. Therefore, this paper attempts to review and assess the Grab application using proposed structural relationship model of technology readiness factors (TR), customer experience model (CEM) and continuance usage of intention (CUI). All related constructs were presented in the proposed research conceptual framework where research hypotheses were developed. As a conclusion, the paper brought forward suggestions for future far.

Abstract :

With global citizens and their vision imperatives there is an evolving breed of MBA students surveying the business landscape with a more discerning eye and demanding a new type of education, what students are asking for is interscholastic quality—not just interdisciplinary education—this in turn has given rise to a new technology-based tools for gathering and disseminating knowledge that have become central element of today's education.

The advent of knowledge economy, a factor of globalization and networking has posed new thrust on our education programs at national and international levels. Students, alumni, faculty and staff members have metamorphed to customers, for an education institution and these liaisons are to be honored with a belief that “Every contact counts!”

With such a considerable paradigm shift in the higher education sector worldwide, institutions are constantly looking for ways to capitalize on technology and enhance the effectiveness of their customer relationships. Collectively referred to as ‘Constituent’, the entire students, alumni, donors, promoters, faculty members, and administration staff members network today demand a more customer-oriented approach to optimize the educational experience.

To be able to carve a niche in this cluttered market place the institutions are resorting to developing competitive advantage by using mathematical science of predictive analytics to be able to better forecast student retention and enrollment and targeted campaigns to understand student behavior and the one stop solution to all the woes of the higher education system is CRM: Customer Relationship Management.

This research paper aims to explore the reins of paradigm shift in education sector and gauge the awareness of the stakeholders for the new technology. The paper also explores the premise or readiness of users and their perception about effectiveness of the various functions of the Customer Relationship Management software.

Abstract :

one important element in the process of electrical energy conversion is an inverter, which functions to convert voltage and direct current (DC) to alternating current and voltage (AC). One type of inverter is full bridge, this type of inverter is able to convert direct current into alternating current  one phase. The use of a single phase inverter is widely used in household appliances. One problem that often arises in the conversion process is total harmonic distortion (THD). Where harmonics are a sinusoidal signal formation whose value is a multiple of the basic frequency. bipolar SPWM functions as an IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) switch controller in regulating the outgoing voltage on the inverter. While the LCL passive filter used is a combination with 2 components of inductors (L) and capacitors (C) arranged in parallel to the load in order to reduce the harmonic wave from the box wave to sinusoidal. While the LCL passive filter used is a combination with 2 components of inductors (L) and capacitors (C) arranged in parallel to the load in order to reduce the harmonic wave from the box wave to sinusoidal. The addition of the LCL passive filter in the inverter circuit can reduce current harmonics from 8% to 1.02%.

Abstract :

Branding is extremely important in the auto industry and brought fortunes to Malaysian automobile companies. Popular Malaysian local-made automobile such as PROTON recently faces tough competition as other international brands remains among top purchased automobile in Malaysia. Users may explore and purchase new brands of automobiles or if it is recommended to them by someone they trust, or experience before or partake emotional attachment of the said brands. Therefore, this research attempts to answer the questions whether brand trust, experience and attachment influences brand loyalty among the Malaysian local automobile brands. Malaysian automobile users will be the unit of analysis. A quantitative research design will be performed while descriptive analysis will be employed to obtain the findings of this study. All related constructs are presented in the proposed research conceptual framework where research hypotheses are developed. Finally, this paper also acknowledged some suggestions for future research directions.

Abstract :

A strong brand can lead to several marketing advantages and increase companies’ competitive strength. An ongoing systematic brand-building process is important for creating a strong brand The type of organisation is one of the key drivers of brand-building and may influence a particular approach on the basis of the organisation’ s characteristics and context. SME brands are often built in a very different context form large organization. The process of building a successful brand in an entrepreneurial venture is interesting to investigate as it presents a different situation to brand building in a corporate space.  Thus, this research responds to the need for an increased understanding of brand building in SMEs. It seeks to assess the nature and scope of brand building process within an SME context This will be done through a case study design of the food processing SMEs in Malaysia .The research design adopts and adapts Centeno et al(2013) “Five phase of SME brand building model” that will  help to direct the fieldwork, data analysis and findings. A series of semi-structured interviews will be conducted among  owner / managers from the food processing SMEs to get a better understanding on the process of brand building within the entrepreneurial establishments.
